That’s the first question a lot of people ask when I tell them what I do. There’s a simple answer: as a holistic Health Coach, I help people set goals and stay focused as they work towards becoming a healthier person.
What makes me qualified to do that?
I spent a year studying at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, learning a wide range of dietary theories. I’ve discovered that each body has its own requirements when it comes to achieving optimal health. And I realize that achieving health is about your whole body – not just about calories and fat.
So how does the process work?
We begin with a free Health History consultation – a one hour session during which I learn about your individual issues and needs and identify specific goals. Goals may include weight loss, implementing diet changes suggested by a doctor, weight maintenance throughout perimenopause, or starting a new nutrition and exercise regimen.
In subsequent meetings, we work on your goals together and find ways to bring healthy eating into your life.
I provide support and guidance, which can include:
healthful meal planning
kicking your sugar addiction
understanding and reducing cravings
